At Rockmax Media, we believe every event is more than a moment it’s a story waiting to be told. Recently, we had the opportunity to create content around two signature Nation Media Group initiatives: Beijing+30 Reflections and the Top 40 Under 40 Women Awards.

While these platforms may seem different one focused on reflection, the other on recognition they are deeply connected. Together, they form a powerful continuum of women’s empowerment: where past commitments meet present leadership, and where storytelling ties it all together.

Beijing+30: Looking Back to Move Forward

Thirty years since the Beijing Declaration, Nation Media Group brought together leaders, activists, and young women for the NXT HER Summit and an International Women’s Day Gala. The conversations were honest and forward-looking acknowledging progress while highlighting the work still ahead.

Our role was to ensure these voices didn’t just stay within the conference halls. Through highlights, reels, and digital-first storytelling, we extended the dialogue to a wider audience, making the reflection relevant and engaging for today’s generation.

Soon after, the Top 40 Under 40 Women Awards celebrated Kenya’s rising female leaders from neurosurgeons and policymakers to entrepreneurs and creatives. These women represent the living proof of what Beijing envisioned three decades ago: women leading boldly across every sector.

At Rockmax, we focused on crafting content that went beyond awards coverage. By blending dynamic visuals with authentic storytelling, we positioned each honoree’s journey as part of a larger narrative of progress and inspiration.
